Symbiotes are a form of alien species in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Marvel Comics . However not all of them have made it into the two venom movies. This article will count the top five strongest symbiotes from the comics.

Sleeper
While Sleeper is one of many offspring of the original Venom symbiote, he is very different in appearance, not taking on the classic white embellished eyes. However while being more menacing in appearance, Sleeper is a very protective symbiote for its host and their loved ones. This could also damage the symbiote however.

Anti-venom
Anti-venom was an accidental symbiote created when Venom had parted from Eddie Brock. After almost dying of cancer, Eddie took to the help of Mr Negative. This then created Anti-venom. This symbiote is similar to Venom however it takes on yellow versions of the original Venom eyes and is also a lot more slim compared to the bulk of Venom. This symbiote also has the reversed versions of Venom’s colours (the comic version). Anti-venom will repel any symbiote that comes in contact with it making it visibly stronger then most symbiotes.

Carnage
Carnage is the first offspring of the Venom symbiote (when Eddi broke out of prison a bit of his blood and the symbiote were left) and has many differences between his father. These include Carnage being more slim in comparison to Venom, Carnage being red and black rather than Venom’s black and white, Carnage losing the usual symbiote sound weakness, bonding to the blood rather than the DNA and Carnage having four natural tentacles (similar to Hybrid). Carnage is a natural born killer having a direct telepathic link to the symbiote god Knull.

Venom
Venom is the first symbiote in the comics. Venom first bonded with Peter Parker and is the only villain to not trigger the spider-sense. After Spider man disbanded from Venom he bonded with a news reporter Eddie Brock who also shared his hatred for Spider-man. Venom can change his shape, length and density and can stretch his body. Venom is an anti-hero (in between a hero and a villain). Venom has extreme speed and strength and can be extremely hidden. Venom has had life for over 2.4 billion years.

Knull
Knull is the symbiote god and is one of the strongest beings in the MCU besides One-above-all, beyonder and eternity. Knull rules the cradle of chaos, a dark abyss of primordial darkness. He was punished for his dark actions with being banished to the void. Knull wielded the necrosword which is most famously used by the God Butcher sword, one of the most powerful weapons in Marvel history. Knull has been alive since the start of the universe. The Celestials banished him to the corner of the universe for his evil nature and actions. Knull created the Clinton universe and has a telepathic link to all Clinton species.
