Yarael Poof was a male Quermian Jedi master and was around 2.64 metres tall. He was born on the planet of Quermia in 232 BBY. He had 4 arms but kept the two lower arms in his Jedi robes as they were extremely fragile and vulnerable.The Jedi master also had two brains - one in his head and one in his chest. He joined the Republic and served on the Jedi Council with Jedi masters such as Grand Master Yoda. First seen in live action form in Star Wars the Phantom Menace, this was also his last appearance in live action form.
In 27 BBY, Yarael Poof embarked on his last mission. This all began when a crisis meeting was called by the Jedi Council about a new threat which had risen. This threat was planning to strike one of three worlds. These worlds were Alderaan, Corellia and Coruscant. These were all key worlds within the Republic and to make the situation worse this enemy had acquired an artefact from Seylott. This artefact was so powerful it could destroy entire planets. This enemy was revealed to be Ashaar Khorda-a Annoo-dat general. Master Oppo Rancisis volunteered to go travel to Corellia and Master Eeth Koth volunteered to go to Alderaan. Master Windu announced he would keep Coruscant safe, however Master Poof stepped in saying he would be willing to keep the capital safe as he is better attuned to locating the disturbance caused by the relic which was called the Statue of Shaa. The Jedi Council then agreed to this and they set off on their missions.
Fast forward and the Jedi Master was now in Coruscant's central power generator face to face with Khorda. Khorda grasped a carved object which The Master sensed was the object causing the disturbance. He then sensed this very object was about to release its full power so without hesitation Poof stepped forward demanding the object. Just as this happened two bounty hunters stepped out from the shadows. Zam Wesell and the legendary Jango Fett. They also demanded the statue be given to them. Poof quickly formed a mutual alliance with the bounty hunters and took down the gang of terrorists. Once Poof gained the statue he looked gazed upon it. Unfortunately at that very moment a wounded Khorda stabbed Poof with a vibroblade. This went straight into the Quermian Jedi’s heart. The dying Jedi withdrew the blade from his heart and collapsed to the floor. He pleaded for Zam Wesell to put the artefact into his hand and then, using the force, he put the device back into a neutral state. This use of the force took the last of the Jedi's energy away, killing him. He was taken back to the Jedi temple where his body was cremated, returning him to the force and letting him rest easy knowing he saved trillions of lives.
