The Secret Reason Moshi Monsters and Club Penguin Ended

It was no surprise when moshi monsters announced they were shutting down, but you may have wondered as to why.

You may of heard it was due to a lack of popularity, but no- it was the sole reason that Flash Player was closing down. It is a shame a game as old as Moshi Monsters is closing as it has been around for a long time: it will be sad to see it go.


Club Penguin sadness

Club Penguin, created by New Horizon Interactive, was a multiplayer online game, involving a virtual world that held a range of online games and activities. Players roamed around an island overrun by stylish penguins.


Other major companies

Other major game companies like Telltale games also closed down because of reasons like lack of interest and money.


How many people played these games

It is expected that 80 million people played Moshi Monsters and Club Penguin had an astonishing 150 million people.


Reactions to these games closing

Many people were devastated by this announcement. Lots of us played Club Penguin

when we were little and now it is gone.
