Some crazy facts!

The amazing Cleopatra was Queen for twenty-one years, and she married 4 men. She ruled over Egypt, but one day, when she was with Mark Antony, she killed her sister and blamed Mark for it. He then died from killing himself and Cleopatra died by a poisonous snake called an ASP.

Marriages! Good or Bad?

Cleopatra married a twelve year old, her brother called Ptolemy XIV, then her other brother Ptolemy XII a couple of years later. She then got together with the Roman General Julius Caesar, then Mark Antony. Mark and Cleopatra had three children and then Cleopatra’s love life ceased.

Dreary death!

As said before, whilst Mark Antony and Cleopatra were in love, Cleoprata decided to kill her sister Arsinoe, so she blamed Mark for the tragic death of Arsinoe and they both died (by choice).

Facts!

Why is Cleopatra famous? - Whilst she was the Queen of Egypt (51–30 BCE), Cleopatra also actively influenced Roman politics at a crucial period and she became further known for her relationships with Julius Caesar and Mark Antony. She came to represent powerful female figures and she was the prototype of the romantic femme fatale.
