Storm Bert

Storm Bert has recently hit the UK, destroying nearby houses and businesses.  This has caused a lot of people to become homeless,  This has maybe even caused a few deaths in the process of Storm Bert’s mass destruction.  Storm Bert’s behaviour near the towns of the UK is still not known, nor is it known why it had attacked in the first place.  This is most likely due to the climate, and the drastic change in the weather patterns and current. Storm Bert could still be a storm that had been directed from Storm Bertha, the storm that attacked the US a while ago.  (And that continues to attack the states from time-to-time).

Storm Bert has already caused comprehensible damage to the public,  and it now seems it’s come back with flash floods.  Even Dave Throup has come to statements with Storm Bert’s trouble, saying “It’s very challenging”. Our flood forecasting is pretty good in the UK and is quite sophisticated. We have the flood forecast centre where the Met Office and hydrologists from the EA sit alongside each other, but it is never going to be a precise science”  said Dave Throup. The government has to put 2.4 billion pounds to the cause of the floods,  and the damage they’ve caused.  Storm Bert has truly caused massive damage to the UK.
