Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (the latest movie of the Star Wars franchise) was a movie full of sacrifice and hope. This article will inform you how Kylo Ren could have survived and lived a life with Rey.
First of fall, some background information. After the discovery of Emperor Palpatine’s unexpected return into life the Rebels are having a race against the clock to find his whereabouts.The two main pilots Finn and Poe lead the Rebels into the First Order’s plans, however losing sight of Rey. It is later on discovered that Rey has fallen into the grasps of Palpatine. She has an inevitable confrontation with Kylo Ren, then eventually putting a stop to The First Order killing Palpatine once and for all.
However, doing this means Rey has lost all of her life force resulting in her death. This is not the end. However, Kylo ascends from the cliff he was forced into in their conflict and gives his life force to save Rey as the final sacrifice of the movie. Many fans of the Star Wars franchise were speculating at this and how Anakin Skywalker could have finished his story arc by giving his spirit to Kylo allowing them to live a happy life together finishing off the Star Wars series. This theory could have made a lot of sense as Anakin never really got to finish his story arc dying in his mid 40’s at roughly 45. And while some of these things seem impossible, Rey has lived on and wrapped up the Star Wars universe brilliantly.
It was a shame to see Kylo pass on but we must remember the reasoning behind this and the situation at hand. His sacrifice will be remembered by Star Wars fans across the world or even in a galaxy far, far away.
