Erik Lehnsherr was a victim of the Holocaust of 1945 nearing the end of WW2. His mother was taken away in Auschwitz leaving Erik to be experimented on for having magnetic powers. This experience shaped his opinion on the situations the mutants of the Marvel Universe face. Taking this into consideration he used his powers to stop such atrocities from taking place no matter how violent the cost.

Magneto has a few enemies consisting of Abyss (the final boss in Marvel vs Capcom 2), Bishop, Beast, Xavier , Wolverine and Apocalypse. Would you say they are suitable rivals of Magneto? Magneto is not alone in the fight against his foes and is backed up by the likes of Mystique, Sabertooth, Pyro and the Juggernaut. While Magneto may seem like the perfect friend, Judas would disagree after being betrayed by Magneto and Mystique.

Magneto’s outfit consists of a red tight suit with a purple belt, boots, cape and gloves with a red and purple helmet that protects him from mind attacks and reading minds.

This is one of the more tragic backstories of the MCU and could really engross the fans. I would give Magneto’s backstory an overall 9/10.
