General Grievous was originally a Kaleesh from the planet Kalee. This is the planet he lived his early life on. The Kaleesh conflict between the Huk had a big impact on Qymaen Jai Sheelal (General Grievous), however he quickly learned the art of war. His primary weapon was a slugthrower rifle. Using this weapon he quickly stacked up many Huk kills and became a demigod among his people. He then settled down with a wife and became a leader of an army training group .
After the Huks killed his wife and a lot of his village, he pleaded for help from the Jedi council. The Jedi said they would not intervene with his war and how the Huks were there first. This is why Grievous developed a personal vendetta against the Republic and Jedi . Qymaen suffered a near fatal ship explosion and was rescued by Count Dooku who was secretly responsible for the malfunction. He was then rebuilt as a cyborg and given his respective name he now continues to be known as in the Star Wars franchise.
