Should we cancel Christmas? That’s the thing, nobody knows, because we all have different opinions. In this article I am going to be telling you whether we should cancel Christmas or not, with some for and against arguments.
The reason we shouldn’t cancel Christmas is because all people think about these days is money and presents. They don’t think about the real reason, which is Jesus Christ’s birthday, which is the real reason Christmas became a tradition. If Jesus Christ wasn't born, we wouldn’t have Christmas at all! It wouldn’t be a thing! So the next Christmas that comes up, let’s think of the real reason why Christmas is celebrated, we can think of the presents and fun. But also take time to think about the real reason Christmas became a tradition.
The reason we should cancel Christmas is because people go too much into buying presents with their money and they just spend and spend. Sometimes people get that sucked in and they end up in debt! Now that can cause people to not be able to pay their bills, and they may end up homeless! We have too many homeless people and we don’t need anymore! So we should cancel Christmas so that people do not get into debt, as it can be a very serious problem in this country.
And finally, should we cancel Christmas? Well that is completely up to you.
