Well, today's youth always seem to be on the news for either committing something illegal or, relating to something about technology. Stories are always about children, who are either sitting on their computer, playing video games, or sitting on their phones all day. Help stop the stereotyping and help the youthful generation make this society’s views of us better today.

Yes, some people our age can be “bad”, but that’s just a small minority of people. Most young people are well behaved and just want to have fun. In our opinion, nobody ever seems to state the good deeds people our age do, It’s always the worst things which become published to the public.

Also, teachers are not safe from this madness either. Teachers seem to always be getting told: “ why would you like to work with children?”

But truly, most children are wonderful people at the prime of their lives, getting ready to celebrate birthdays or visiting family members. But, some people in the world still think that children are disrespectful.

This could be how all old people perceive us in a couple years time if we cannot change this stereotype. We can stop this. Just a small compliment or quote to someone older would mean the world to them, so change how the image of young teenagers are seen all over the world.

The modern day population of children are great people improving on everything in life and school. Many people who stay in their homes and never go outside into the open world to see the good things we do, only see bad things that teenagers do instead.

Possibly, many people may be afraid of teenagers because, over the time period of five years 1,000 children/teenagers have committed crimes. Many people should not have to fear teenagers because, the age group for the most crimes committed is 24 to 34.

Generally, we think 16 year old are not able to make good life choices because most of them rely on their friends to make their decisions, so this may lead to unwanted happiness or antisocial behaviour. Visit and volunteer to help children who struggle to make choices, do things in life.

In conclusion, start respecting older people and they will respect you too, and we will all live in a better society altogether.
