Since we are going into our second lockdown it is very important we stay happy. Here are 12 tips to help you to stay positive during lockdown.
Spend time with family- spending time with your family can be fun, you could watch a movie or play a game. Remember they are going through this as well so comfort your siblings, and reconnect with your family.
Video call with friends- even though you can’t meet up with friends unless you are outside you can still video call with them. You could talk about how your day was or what you did that day.
Create some crafts- creating crafts can be really fun, you can make decorations for your room or for your friends. You can create crafts with family members and have fun with them.
Write letters or cards- Writing letters or cards can make you feel better and make whoever you send them to feel happy. When you make letters or cards you can decorate them with drawings and send them to family members and friends.
Watch a show that you like- When you watch a show you like it can make you happy. Seeing other people happy can help you feel happy, and if you become happy, then other people will be happy.
Go for a walk- you might not be able to go inside places that aren’t your home but you can go for a walk. Ask your family if they want to go for a walk and you can spend some time with them or play games. It will also be good to get fresh air.
Read a book- read a book you have never read before. Reading a book can entertain you for hours, you could read a book and recommend it and say what it was about to a family member or a friend.
Try something new- try to do something new like learn a new trick or make a dance. If you try something new it can make you feel better because you have accomplished something.
Organize- organizing can help you keep things clean and feel better because now you know where everything is and you don’t need to worry about forgetting where something is.
Help your parents- your parents might be tidying the house or coming back from shopping and ask if they need help. Helping your parents can make you feel like you have made their day.
Donate something- even though we can’t go out and donate money you can go online and look for a website that you can donate to. You can donate clothes that are too small for you or money and it will make you feel better.
Stay positive- even though it might seem hard to stay positive like times like this. Use these tips to stay positive.
